Hi folks,
When I do listen to music radio stations on the net, I listen to music you can't hear on your local radio stations, and I like Irish folk music. I can't say much for todays irish music, but i can't say much about todays' rock music, period. I don't think the top 40 irish music stations are much different from todays' rock here in the states, but I love traditional Irish folk ballads that tell a story. Does anyone else in here listen to or like Irish folk music?

The only irish traditional folk station I can get is irish live 1. I might not have the name exactly right, but it's something like that. You can hear it on billsparks.org, and there's another radio directory, can't think of it now, but I've listened to it several times. A lot of the stations give me an error message, like with windows media player and real player, I get some dialogue that says, can't play this file type.

I listen to midwest irish radio. It's on the mikes radio world web site. www.mikesradioworld.com Just look under the europe link and then the ireland link
I think I ran across that link, but for some reason, either real player or windows media wouldn't play it. oh well, them's the breaks.

I like Irish folk music. It has got a lot of similarities to Greek music the rythm, style etc. The only Irish album i have got is The Cors unplugged. Track4 is good in this album. It's an Irish dance.
